Nemo's Cake Pops

This was another challenging project for me. Which I had a lot of fun. Made these cakepops for my a special friend that is traveling across the continent. On top of these wonderful nemo party cake pops, this was the first time that I made personalized tags and a birthday card just for this special lil guy.
For your info, the card was made with my newly cricut machine. :-)
Below are the rolled cake pops.
Made some in orange and others in white.
for the next ones, I used rolled white fondant and
rolled it into circles.
and here are my blue cake pops.
They look cute don't they ?? but there are not complete yet.
and here they are with the little handcrafted chocolate nemo. :-)
and to add a special touch to these cake pops, I created special tags.
and here is the final... all wrapped up and ready to be eaten.
Here is the card I made for this birthday party.
This is the outside of the card.
here is the inside.

I'm Still Here!

~~Hi everyone~~
Hope you all had a wonderful memorial day weekend. I came in today to drop a few lines today.... I'm sorry I haven't posted anything exciting for you, but I just wanted to let you know that I been so into the scrapbooking and my classes ohhh and yeah something else that I just can't say it right now... TOP SECRET! hehe anyways that I haven't done any baking lately.... but I will... I was actually thinking of doing another CC episode this week. That should be fun since I'm getting to know my cricut cake machine... Everytime I walk in the room I feel that its yelling at me for not playing with it. :0( but soon I will be using it everyday. :0)
Well I hope you all have a great night and a wonderful week. I will see you very soon.

Meringues - Suspiros

I been waiting to make these for sometime and now I finally did.
There were made from my grandmother recipe book. She always made these sugar sweets during this season so they are a family tradition. For more than 30 years I finally brought this recipe alive once again.
Although back in the days there was no food coloring, I thought that it would be nice to add a color.

Soccer Cake Pops

Made these today for an event coming up.
White cake with sprinkles (Inside)
White Frosting (Inside)
White Vanilla Chocolate (Outside)
Black tinted Fondant (Black pentagons for the soccer ball)
1. First I mixed the cake with the frosting as a regular basic cake pop.
2. Rolled out the black fondant.
3. Used a 2 1/2 inch Star Cut-out to shape the stars.
4. I cut the all the edges of the stars to shape like a pentagon.
5. Dipped cake ball in white chocolate just like a basic cake pop.
6. Lastly attached fondant into white chocolate. Set aside to dry.

Bakerella - The Queen of Rockin' Cake Pops (I WON)

On February 23, 2011 I entered this contest without a clue that I ever going to win.... Me win... I never won anything... but heyyy there is that saying, when you least expect thats when it will happen.
Below is the link that I'am so please to share with you.
So do you remember about 1 month ago when I found out that I had won this contest? Well here it is, the package came in today, as I pulled into the driveway from dropping off my son at school, I noticed a big USPS box in my stairs and off course I already knew what it was. I felt like a little girl opening a huge present on her birthday, but instead it was a older girl driving down her driveway with a big smile on her face. ;0) loolollool... and here is it.
