Standard CakePop
Have you wondered how to make cake pop? Well if so... this is my version on how to make Cake pops.
Here is what you will need.
1 box cake mix.
3/4 of frosting can (your favorite flavor)
Wilton Candy Melts (your favorite chocolate)
Bake cake as directed on the box.
Once cake is baked and cooled completely, crumble into large bowl.
I use my Electric Mixer. (It will crumble the cake better and much faster).
Mix the cake thoroughly with 3/4 can frosting. (I prefere to use 3/4 has it won't be too sweet) Be warned, it will get messy.
Roll mixture into quarter size balls and place on wax paper or paper towel.
Melt chocolate in the microwave as per directions on package. Or you can purchase aWilton Chocolate Melter .
Dip the tip of your lollipop stick a little of the melted candy coating and insert into the cake balls. Insert a little less than halfway.
Place them in the freezer for a little while to firm up.
Once firm, carefully insert the cake ball into the candy coating by holding the lollipop stick and rotating until covered. Once covered remove and softly tap and rotate until the excess chocolate falls off. Don’t tap too hard or the cake ball will fall off.
Place in a Styrofoam White Block to dry.
