Spiderman cake pops/chocolate lollipops
Hey everyone. I wanted to post these cool cakepops I made this past weekend. At first I was not sure how they were going to come out but than they look pretty cool. Of course they are not all the same since they were all hand-drawn.
I also made the chocolate lollipops.
I hope you enjoy my post today.

Bakerella PA book signing
Happy New Year everyone!!!
I'm so glad that I have a blog which I'm able to keep record my life and the great moments in it. And here is a moment that I will forever remember. Back when hurricane sandy was around and we were left with no power for over 1 week I decided to drive to PA to meet Bakerella since her NJ book signing was canceled to do the flooding. I had such an awesome time and I was glad that I took that trip. I been waiting to meet her for over 2 years now, to be exact ever since I started this blog. She is my inspiration in all my cake popping and I enjoy all her posts. :0) Se recently posted a few pictures of the book signing. It was a fun day and unforgettable memory. (I should really scrapbook this event and perhaps send it to her) :0) Besides her signing our books we also signed hers. Can you see my signature on the left side ???
Here it is Bakerella & Docerela
Be sure to hop on over to Bakerella site to view her recent post.
She is such a wonderful person.

Brigadeiro recipe
Hi everyone!
Thank you for visiting my baking blog. Here is the recipe
Thank you for visiting my baking blog. Here is the recipe
Here's what you will need:
- 4 tablespoons of Nestle chocolate or strawberry milk powder mix
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (your choice of brand)
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- Your choice of sprinkles
Cooking Instructions:
- put roughly 2 tablespoons of butter to melt in the pan
- set the stove top to medium-low
- once the butter is melted, add a whole can of condensed milk
- now you will add the chocolate;
- stir with the wooden spoon; you will need to stir for at least 10 -15 minutes and it can take as long as 25 minutes; stir in circular movements and make sure you get the Brigadeiro from the sides so it does not stick there and burn
- the Brigadeiro will get thicker and thicker and will reduce in volume
- you know it is ready when a) you divide it in half with the spoon and it stays parted for a few seconds) scoop some brigadeiro with the wooden spoon, turn the spoon upside down, and it holds there for an instant before falling back into the pan;
- when your Brigadeiro is ready, spread the content of the pan on a plate and put it in the fridge for about 30 minutes to an hour; you want it nice and firm before you roll it in balls
- to make the little balls, spread a little bit of butter in your hands and make sure to get your fingers; using a small spoon, scoop some Brigadeiro, put it in your hands, and roll it in a little ball
- roll the ball on the chocolate sprinkles to cover it completely
- place your brigadeiro in a banking cup
- repeat--should yield about 25 Brigadeiros
- put Brigadeiros in the fridge for about 15-30 minutes to make them firmer
